Alvin Trick Or Treat Trail
The Alvin Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual Trick or Treat Trail event 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at National Oak Park, 118 S. Magnolia St.
The free event promises a safe, friendly environment for children and families, parks and recreation specialist Scott Bagwellsaid.
On the trail, youths can visit as many as 50 booths sponsored by local businesses and organizations that will be passing out a variety of candy and other spooky treats.
At the end of the trail, children and parents can head to the pavilion to participate in various Halloween-themed games and activities.
"There's a trail going through (the park), and we usually have around 50 vendors, so it's like hitting 50 houses at once," Bagwell said.
